Rain, then low cloud, then drizzle, then etc
Had the visibility been good, I'd have taken the upland route with a view, so instead the easier coastal route.
Didn't stop for lunch so got to Donegal in time for .......

Found the Reel Inn, who were having a barbecue, ahead of, then got involved watching, the Tyrone v Donegal Gaelic Football Ulster semi final.   Enjoyed the Donegal win and 1or2 Guinesses.

Character building start to the morning cycling to Euston station.   Many friendly commuter cyclists, careless car drivers, caring bus drivers.
Efficient and comfortable train to Holyhead, and boat to Dublin.  
Cycled to the b&b.   Dined at the Oval bar  - -  for obvious reasons  - -  first pints of the dark stuff  - -  nectar.

Just a casual evening's cycle to the station, then train to Tottenham Hale, then cycle to the pub/hotel in the Turkish quarter of Finsbury.   Watched Spain beat Portugal amongst a contingent of young Iberians, mainly Spanish.
