Headed for the Blasket Islands.
Wanted to go ashore on Great Blasket but the conditions at the only landing place were too bad for us to anchor - - strong wind, lee shore, unknown seabed.
Sailed on through the channel, with a force 6, followed the coast past the Three Sisters and sheltered in Smerwick Bay for the night.
